CHILD SAFETY
As a BBSA member we support fully the ‘make it safe!’ campaign.
The message is to ‘reduce the risk from looped blind cords and chains’.
To minimise the risk of accidents we recommend that all cords and chains are kept out of reach of children. The use of child safety features can be added to your blind to further minimise risk.
You can take a number of practical, simple precautions to significantly reduce the risk.
Secure looped cords and chains using one of the available safety devices. Typical examples are:
